YEKOH Cosmetics embodies an inspiring cultural fusion, born from my personal experience as an orphan to celebrate the diversity of skin tones and illuminate the beauty of the faces that populate our planet.
As a Cameroonian-born founder from the Loire region in France, I fulfilled my parents’ dream by pursuing studies in the medical field. However, it was during the lockdown imposed by the 2020 health crisis that I seized the opportunity to realize my own dream: to create a line of cosmetic products, including a foundation tailored to black and mixed-race skin tones.
Faced with the absence of suitable products on the market, I dedicated two and a half years of hard work to bring to life an innovative product: a transfer-proof vegan foundation that enhances the skin of black, mixed-race, and Mediterranean women.

We are working hard to increase the number of people giving blood and we urgently need your help. There is a significant need for more donors of Black heritage to help the growing number of patients needing blood.
Black heritage donors are ten times more likely to have the Ro blood type urgently needed to treat the 15,000 people in the UK with sickle cell disorder. Sickle cell is a painful and debilitating condition which is particularly prevalent in people of Black African, Black Caribbean, or Mixed background.
To get the best treatment, people need blood which is closely matched to their own. This is most likely to come from a blood donor of the same ethnicity. Yet only 2% of current blood donors are of Black heritage – that’s 19,300 people.
Our objectives are to:
– increase awareness of the need for blood donors of Black heritage
– recruit 12,000 new donors of Black heritage in 2024, to help meet the increasing demand for the Ro subtype needed by people fighting sickle cell disorder.
